5. WhatsApp messaging
When you contact us via our WhatsApp Business number (+32 470 55 54 00), or when we send you WhatsApp messages you opted into: • The content of your messages, your WhatsApp phone number, and your profile name are received and stored in our internal system to handle your request. • WhatsApp Inc. and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. act as data processors and provide the technical messaging infrastructure. Their privacy practices are described at https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy and https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy. • We use Meta’s WhatsApp Business Cloud API to receive and send messages. The recipient phone number is required to deliver each message. • We send service messages (replies within 24 hours of your inbound message) and, with your consent, login codes and campaign updates via approved message templates.
6. Sharing with third parties
We only share your data with third parties who help us operate, under strict data-processing agreements: • Hosting and infrastructure providers (Hetzner, Coolify) • Payment processors (your bank, Belfius, and gateway providers when applicable) • Communication providers (Meta / WhatsApp, email service) • Tax and accounting professionals as required by law We never sell your personal data to third parties.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described: • Donation records: 7 years (Belgian accounting law) • Member and volunteer records: as long as you are active + 2 years • Contact form messages: 2 years after resolution • WhatsApp conversations: 2 years after last activity, unless you ask us to delete sooner • Login and language data stored in your browser: kept until you log out or clear your browser data
8. Your rights
