2024 Qurbani Organisation

With our 2024 Qurbani Organization, we delivered your donations to tens of thousands of brothers and sisters waiting for us in oppressed regions. We continued our work in 3 different African countries and 6 different regions, paying attention to humanitarian and Islamic rules in our sacrifice work, which we carried out lots of care. We reached hundreds of villages that could not be reached under difficult conditions and were with thousands of families.

We would like to thank our all of you who lend a hand to our families and meeting them in their expectations and allowing us to reach more of our brothers and sisters every year. Hoping to meet you in many more hearts on many more holidays.

Our volunteer team shared their feelings and thoughts as follows;

Emre BEKTAŞ: ''As in previous years, I had the opportunity to participate in the qurabi organization this year. Those in need were able to find meat, and our citizens were able to fulfill their religious obligations with peace of mind. I also experienced the peace of being able to bridge the gap as much as I could. "Hopefully, we can reach more people every year than the previous year and the organization will gradually grow."

Ahmet Tarık ALTUN: ''4. This qurbani organization, which I have experience with, was a special organization for me. In addition to reaching people in real need and distributing qurbani meat to them in Africa, which has difficulties in accessing not only meat but also most human needs every year and struggles not only with poverty, this year has led to completely different lessons that I perhaps did not pay attention to or realized last year. I will mention two important ones. To distribute the meat, we slaughtered it in a region approximately 14 hours away from Dar es Salaam, the largest city in Tanzania, and then went to villages 2.5-3 hours away from our location for distribution. The sentence of Aunt Hatice, to whom we brought meat there, "This is not the meat you brought, but it is very important for us that you came here" gave me a completely different reason for reflection. Secondly, we reached the village where we were sent because "there is a family of 7 orphans there", on a nearly 1-hour journey, with our car stuck on the road, sometimes pushing the truck bed, and sometimes walking. Allah Almighty mobilized nearly 15 men, some white and some black, to provide  to 7 orphans. This was a speechless event. "I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed."

Emre KELER: ''As part of the 2024 Eid feast, we carried out slaughter and distribution activities in the Garissa region of Kenya. Additionally, we tried to provide clothing support to the public. We entertained the children with balloons and toys that they didn't even realize existed. At the height of poverty, it is very difficult to put into writing the curiosity and excitement of even older children about a balloon. "In general, I can say that the lack of water resources in the region and its effects were the most striking situations."

Ekrem COŞKUN: ''I was in charge of your qurbani sacrifice in Africa in 2020/2021 and 2024. While I am thankful for my situation every time I go, I realize how neccessary it is to be there. It is really difficult to describe the smiles on the faces of our brothers and sisters who were there, their gratitude to you, and the prayers that came out of their mouths. Allah ; We realize so well that He sent His sustenance to those who donated, that day, that hour, that minute. Imagine, you go to one of the African countries by plane, which is many kilometers away. It is not enough, you travel another 10-15 hours by land, and even that is not enough, you go to a person who lives in the most remote village of that region. His house has all the necessities of life that we have, such as a TV, telephone, internet, refrigerator, washing machine, but they do not have any. We offer treats from your donations in a village house with no furniture. "I am completely in a different state of mind."
